Our Story

About the Brand

Belen recognized a literal hole in the fashion marketplace (after numerous high-end basics in her wardrobe ripped after a handful of washes), she endeavored to move into her first women’s line, Belen. The initial 8-piece collection sold out right out of the gate. Since the release in 2018, the line continues to grow in a variety of styles and demand. Her staff is entirely female, including the manufacturing and fabric companies she works closely with. The marketing hinges on organic social media mastery catalyzed by the founder.

Belen and Sustainability

All of our pieces are designed and manufactured in LA. We are working towards sourcing all of our fabric from domestic textiles. This means that all fabrics we use will be knit in Los Angeles. Look out for our sustainability icon on our products, which means that the item is 100% domestically sourced.


We take great pride in using recycled, compostable materials for packing and shipping. Our polybags are 100% recycled, our mailers are recycled and can be reused if you need to return your item. We use recycled marketing materials as well, including our logo tissue paper and logo stickers.


As a small business, we are fortunate to have a private space to fulfill your orders. Our customer service and fulfillment team is currently made up of two women. Between the two of us, we see every order that comes in and read every email and direct message we receive.
